An improved network of small harbours with good levels of service
We welcome more vessels visiting Estonian and Latvian small harbours!
The programme has supported the creation of the East Baltic Coast network of small harbours on the western coast of Latvia and around the Gulf of Riga, including islands of Estonia, for providing services of similar quality in at least 23 small harbours in Estonia and Latvia.
Altogether ca 12 million euros are granted to get it done. 9.3 million euros was allocated in 2017 when the monitoring committee supported the first pre-defined project ESTLAT harbours through the direct award procedure and 2.8 million euros was allocated in June 2020 when the second pre-defined project EASTBALTIC HARBOURS was supported. In total, at least 23 small harbours in Estonia and Latvia will be cooperating under common East Baltic Coast network.
Please note that there is a separate programme manual for each pre-defined project.
The project EstLat55 ESTLAT harbors (approved in 2017) must follow the one for the 1st pre-defined project that was adopted on 28 February 2017 and updated in September 2020.
The project EstLat177 EASTBALTIC HARBOURS (approved in 2020) must follow the programme manual for the 2nd pre-defined project that was adopted in July 2019 and updated in September 2020.
